Not much of an idea to begin with.

It felt very random and slapped together, with not much thought put into it. The humor is entirely juvenille and I can't see anyone over 12 being able to laugh at it, even if they were in a particularly jovial manner. The concept is nonsensical and the pacing was too slow. Just not very interesting. Also, the explosion had a black box around it (which, admittingly, can be difficult to get around), and the frame rate should have been higher, at least 24.

Confusing yet somehow captured my interest.

I'll tell you right now this entire movie confused the hell out of me. I couldn't even figure out how to play the gamein the preloader. Honestly, I don't know what to make of this. No explanation is given as to why any of the random events occur in this movie, yet I kept watching just to see what would happen next, just to see how much Gelatin Guy could do with just 99k. Despite being confused, it was interesting enough not to feel completely random and irritating, and the visuals were pleasant. The characters had extremely basic character design, but the contours were smooth as butter, and the tweening was so fluid that even the motion blur effects didn't feel cliched. Overall, it was done very well, but most of us were probably left confused.

What now?

That had a rather abrupt ending. It feels very incomplete. The cartoon felt like the introduction to something much bigger, but then it just ends and really lets you down. What WAS there was very well done, with various angles, smooth animation and perfect audio. It's too bad it didn't go anywhere, which caused me to vote a two. On the whole, it was a bit disorienting and definitely lacking.

Wow. That was unexpected.

I rarely, if ever, see a Flash movie whose intent is to advertise a popular product. This was really good in all aspects. The animation was sharp and incredibly fluid, the excellent voice work, hyperactive nature of the child and spontaneous, obtuse humor made for a hell of a watch. I love how the kid immediately shut up at the end when his father unexpectedly got "excited". Everything about this was very professional and managed to be fresh, clever and slightly perverse without resorting to childish poop and fart jokes.

Very, very average.

There wasn't much to this movie. A bunch of visual references to various NG icons such as Pico, one of those damned clocks, Sonic, Eskimo Bob, etc., some overly epic "battle music" and several fierce fightscenes. To me it was just mediocre. Nothing about this stood out and nothing about it was particularly original. It wasn't humorours, serious, action-packed or entertaining. It was presented nicely and for someone with less than a month's experience, it has nice flow and direction, but feels pointless, is easily forgettable and doesn't necessitate a second viewing. I have to say though, the visuals were nice.

"the visuals were nice?" what the hell did you think i was making, Shakespeare?
...jackass.

This was horrendous.

First off, DBZ in a nutshell is from Invader Zim, I believe. Channel Cat just took audio from some randoms ource and created a crude Flash animation to it. You did the same, except you made up your own audio, and not only is it too long and drawn out, but the voice acting was beyond terrible. The visuals were often either so-so renderings of the show's characters or mostly unmoving bitmaps. This whole thing was slooppy and badly done, and a poor rip off of an already bad movie.

The concept isn't terrible, but the humor is.

This was just extradinarily silly, but not in the good way. Your form of humor is very basic and situation based. Situation based humor can be effevtive--for instance in Japanese humor--but here it has very little substance. It consists little more of characters exchanging small talk with one another and making forgettable comments about other characters. It's quite crude, to be honest, and even if I was a die-hard FF fan, I don't think I would have found it any funnier. The execution isn't bad, as the sprites were used well and the buttons to progress the dialogue wasn't bad, but you need to really work on the humor, which was supposed to be the main appeal of this movie. I think with some maturing and refining it could be less childish.

Deserves to have been blammed.

Not original at all. This has been done a thousand times if not more, and it doesn't matter that it's smoothly animated, it's sticks engaging in physical brawls. This is the kind of entertainment enjoyed by 14-year-old boys, making the target audience rather narrow. This simply won't entertain anyone who's not a fan of basic fighting animation, and the fact that it's incredibly short and has an abrupt, inexplicable ending doesn't help, either.

I'm an amatuer artist who hopes to someday become an underground sensation, doing work for various publications, cd covers, or perhaps even websites and comic strips.
