Very well compressed..,that's about it.

The visuals were good, but that hardly matters since none of the scenes seem connected, there's no discernable plot (but then again how much plot can an empty music video have?), and the characters had corny, inane designs. Fruits with clocks for visages? Things don't always have to make sense to be funny but I simply found this to be unnecessary. The cheap attempts at being "serious" just added to the absurdity. And don't get me started on the music. I can't stand Rammstein's childish lyrics and boring attempts at making music. All in all, good, if completely pointless visuals and nothing more.

Well, thanks for trying to enjoy the movie... I guess. It does help to have a little knowledge of the clock crew to start with. There wasn't anything intended to be funny. And I was just throwing "cheap" stuff in there to drag out a tear? That wasn't my intention at all, and I think you're reading into this way too much than you should be.

You seem to have the perfect concept of what a flash movie should be, so I suggest going for it. Who knows, maybe you'll find a deeper respect for other's flash and determination in the process. I'll look forward to your first work if you choose to do so. I hope it does as well as this movie has been received. <3

Provoked the kind of emotion rarely felt on NG.

It wasn't nearly as saddening as say, Till Death To Us Part, but it was still gripping and nearly drew me to tears. What's funny is that while I believe that "survival of the fittest" is the best way to go, I still hate to see it happen, even if it's in nature. I was kind of half expecting the end result, because I was kind of thinking, there was a 50/50 chance the baby bird would survive. All in all, it was very well executed and I enjoyed the eerily soothing music (which is strange since I never listen to those bands), though the fight scene music seemed out of place. Overall, very well done, nice cinematics, good music, excellent visuals.

You don't have to be a FF fan to enjoy this.

Because I've never played any of the Final Fantasy games and likely never will, but I still got a kick out of this. The catchy music, silly lyrics and cute animation are quite entertaining, and I really liked the simple but effective animation. It even had a little preloader entertainment! It was appealing enough for non-FF fans to enjoy, but with enough inside references and humor for hardcore fans to drool over. I'd also like to add that I was quite surprised the robot voie managed to stay in key so well!

Why is this even in the top 50?

Because it's about as much fun as watching someone play a Resident Evil game in its entirety, which needless to say is pretty boring. The long, drawn out sequences and utterly uninteresting dialogue made this an extremely amatuerish attempt at making a video game parody. I will admit the 2-D backgrounds worked well to create an RE atmosphere (perhaps they're from a GBA incarnation of the series, I really don't know). But that's hardly a redeeming factor. The cheesy, terrible attempts at humor and boring action sequences didn't help either. It was also far too long and really didn't seem to go anywhere. It just seemed like a bunch of random scenes put together to create something that's barely coherent. There's really nothing interesting about this movie at all.

Cute, clever, and a bit funny. But...

It felt lacking. The visuals were fantastic, with a nice attention to details and some interesting effects such as the "focus blur". But it just seemed kind of boring. It was humorous to see the dog doing "people" things like shopping and visiting a gentlemen's club, and the bizarre clash between the human and canine world was interesting, but I found myself waiting for the movie to end. It wasn't only the music, which I could not stand in the least, but it just didn't have all the elements of a great portal entry.

Visually stimulating, and that's it.

I mean really, this movie doesn't go anywhere. It feels like an extremely vague trailor for who knows what. Even if I was a Megaman fan I wouldn't find this interesting because it has no plot and it's essentially a mess of random images with occasional (and varying) animation styles. I will give the piece credit for having very clean visuals, but it's essentially all flash and no substance. The horribly irritating rock-meets-techno music and seizure inducing flashing colors didn't help much either.

Well, it was better than Xaio Xaio...

And I'm not sure why. Because on the surface this is just another smoothly animated shoot-'em-up Flash, with a very thin plot and several minutes of mindless violence. But if you look a bit deeper you notice that the manner in which the kills are executed is actually pretty clever and not just the same bullshit over and over. The visual style was also refreshing, as it was extremely minimal yet smooth and full of life. Good overall, but still a bit thin in terms of deliverance.

Nearly brought me to tears.

I don't think I've seen anything else on the portal the provokes the kind of depressing emotion I associate with this piece. The visuals were excellent and made great use of tweening and shading without overdoing it. The animation was perfect and the detailed stills were excellent. I found it emotionally to be extremely disturbing, and makes me glad that despite having an annoying father, I don't have an abusive one. It did have a bit of a "teen angst" feel to it (primarily because of the sappy music), but there was no "cheese factor" at all. Though it was a bit predictable after the first incident, it was still a shocking and very well executed film, with a disturbing if not ambiguous message behind it. Very good work but I don't know if I could stand to see it again (the real tear jerker was seeing the contrast between the father's "good" and "bad" sides).

Feels a bit "off", but overall, a good effort.

And by off I mean the way things were executed...there were certain cartoon cliches that worked quite well in this movie but just seemed a bit strange the way they were played out. It has an amatuer feel to it, but it's still cute and funny, though the ending seemed a bit out of the blue. Nice visuals, by the way.

Great portrayal of domesticated pets.

Being a cat person, I enjoyed this one on many levels. The stark contrast between the cat and dog were great--the cat was snide, easily offended and irritable, while the dog was blisfully absentminded and childishly playful. It was classy, witty humor that can be enjoyed by all, and I love the quick, simple animation. Great job overall, especially on the voice acting (which I hope you were responsible for! One of the reviews has me a bit uncertain).

I'm an amatuer artist who hopes to someday become an underground sensation, doing work for various publications, cd covers, or perhaps even websites and comic strips.
